Merry Christmas!

Although this is not our first Christmas as a couple, this is our first Christmas together. Last year he celebrated the yuletide season with his parents in Ilocos so it was sort of a long distance "hallmark moment" for us...
But this year is different! He spent Christmas eve with me and my family... we had Noche Buena and then we opened gifts and then we stayed up until the wee hours of the morning telling stories and making plans for the future... Haay! Ain't life grand?!
Merry Christmas to everyone!

Dream Wedding

Eversince I can remember, I have always been fascinated with weddings... So now that it's my turn to bring to life my very own dream wedding, I don't know where to start!
Charlie and I definitely want a Catholic Church wedding. I have always wanted to get married in the same church my mom & dad got married in so it's most probably the St. Andrew's Cathedral for us. I used to like lavender for the color motiff but am having second thoughts considering that I have attended at least 4 weddings with the same motiff. Charlie likes green so I'm thinking of just pairing it off with a bit of pink. One thing's for sure though, I want a butterfly themed wedding so my flower girls will be wearing butterfly wings and they will be holding butterfly cages instead of baskets. We have drafted our entourage but we're still hung on the 2 pairs we would assign as our secondary sponsors. We have even notified some of the would be "Ninongs and Ninangs". The reception venue is quite a challenge though, since there are no gardens or venues near the cathedral. Also, drafting the guest list is proving to be a hard task specially since we both belong to big families and we have tons of friends! Anyway, I want an afternoon wedding so as to have a dinner-dance reception afterwards...
